Technical operation
Connection data required for delivery is processed briefly for security and error analysis. Public delivery and private image/backup storage use Cloudflare. No analytics or advertising cookies are used.
Local settings
Language, reading list and display preferences remain in the browser. The language cookie is technically necessary. These data are not combined into advertising profiles.
Newsletter and push
Newsletter addresses use double opt-in. Expired unconfirmed entries are removed after two days and unsubscribed entries after 30 days. Push subscriptions contain a pseudonymous browser endpoint and filters; inactive entries are removed after 180 days. Email may be delivered by Resend and push by the relevant browser service.
Editorial processing
Source texts are transferred to Mistral AI to create bilingual summaries. Inputs are public manufacturer and community announcements; private personal messages are not intended as sources. Discord editorial actions are logged with user ID and display name and deleted after 365 days.
Legal bases and rights
Processing is based on consent for newsletter and push and on legitimate interests in secure operation and editorial publication. Applicable rights include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and complaint to a data protection authority.
