GSX 4.0.18 Live Update released

FSDreamTeam published Couatl Live Update 4.0.18 on August 23, 2026, addressing several issues affecting all GSX versions. The update resolves a conflict where F12 or related key combinations would open the GSX menu regardless of user-defined hotkeys, particularly after menu closure via timeout. Another fix prevents boarding from remaining stuck on "Baggage loading in progress" after reaching 100% completion.

Additional corrections include the display of the "GSX is disabled while in cruise" message when the menu is opened in flight following a GSX restart, provided the "Disable in cruise" option is enabled. The in-cruise message no longer flashes and closes immediately when the menu is reopened within a few seconds.

GSX Pro introduces a change where arrival wingwalkers are now disabled by default. Users can enable them globally in the simulation settings or per parking spot in the airport profile. The update also adds support for arrival wingwalker settings in aircraft and airport handler scripts, with documentation available in the Handler Scripts Developer Guide.
